Bits and Pieces

It's three days short of a year since the docs and nurses arrived at the house. I don't feel like celebrating. Hence me saying it now rather than in three days.

Had appointment with gp today... hopefully last leg of the dvla shenanigans. He's a good man.

I realised Depakote is an anagram of Take Dope. I'm sure I'm the last person in la-la land to have noticed, but thought I'd mention it anyway.

And a picture.

Take care everyone, Dx

You weren't the last person to notice. And now I'm wondering what other 'hidden messages' there are in pharmaceutical products.

There is certainly something demonic looking about the word Depakote. It's not made by Procter and Gamble is it? I heard they are a satanic company.

I hadnt seen that one. The last time I was on an acute ward there was a manic old man and to try and calm him down one of the HCA's would give him medication names to find anogramms from- he was very good at it. Hannah X

I hope you aren't taking two depakote tablets at a time because an anagram of the generic name (valproate semisodium) is "us pair tame evil moods". Not the Queen's English but you get the message ;o)

Heh I didn't notice it but wth.

Now you've got me playing with anagrams - thanks! Nice blog, by the way :-)

Thanks all. Quetiapine makes: I Pee an' Quit. Very poor, but so is my enthusiasm tonight. Keep safe all.

P.S. Mo, yes I am... and no they don't. They just rub your nose in your innate evilness without the benefit of a high mood to allow you to fly over it.

Lithium: "Uh.... limit..."
Zopiclone: "Pencil zoo" or "Ozone clip".
Zolpidem: "Zip model."
Lamotrigine: "Emailing rot," "Migraine lot," or best of all "Grim elation." (and many many more:

Ok I'm bored with this now.

P.S. Check out Stormgazer's simultaneous anagrammatication. :-)
